This page explains which personal data is processed when you visit k.photo and when you get in touch.
This is a courtesy translation. The German version is legally binding.

2. Visiting the website and hosting
When you visit this website, technically necessary connection data is processed. This may include your IP address, date and time of access, pages viewed, browser and device information and the previously visited page. This data is required to deliver the website, ensure its security and detect technical faults.
The website is provided via an external hosting service. Technical access data may be processed by the hosting and delivery services involved. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a secure and functional website). Data is retained only as long as necessary for operation, security and troubleshooting; specific retention periods for server logs depend on the hosting provider's settings.
Processing outside the EU/EEA cannot be ruled out when providing the website. Where required, it takes place on the basis of appropriate safeguards under Chapter V GDPR, such as an adequacy decision or EU standard contractual clauses.
3. Enquiries
The contact form does not store or send your input via this website. You can select a service or preselect it via the respective service card. When you click "Send enquiry", a message containing your details (name, email address, phone number, selected service and, if applicable, preferred date and message) is prepared in your own email app. The data is only transmitted by email once you send that message yourself. Alternatively, you can contact me directly at m@k.photo.
I process the details you send solely to handle and answer your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for pre-contractual or contractual enquiries; otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding). Emails are deleted once the enquiry has been fully handled and no statutory retention obligations or legitimate reasons for further storage apply. Statutory retention periods may apply to business records. The email providers involved also process the data necessary for delivery.
4. Fonts and images
The Inter typeface and all images are served directly from this website. Displaying the page therefore does not create a separate connection from your browser to a font or image provider. The access data required for delivery is processed as described under "Visiting the website and hosting".
5. Local storage and cookies
Light or dark mode follows your device's system setting automatically; no choice is stored and no cookies are used for this. The language follows your device setting; if you switch the language manually in the menu, this choice is stored locally in your browser (local storage) only so the site can remember it. It is not transmitted to me or third parties.
No analytics or advertising services are currently integrated into the website itself, so a tracking cookie banner is not required.
6. Instagram link
The website contains a simple link to my Instagram profile. No connection to Instagram is established unless you click it. After that, the privacy policy of Instagram / Meta Platforms Ireland Limited applies. Details: privacycenter.instagram.com/policy.
7. Your rights
Subject to the statutory requirements, you have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18) and data portability (Art. 20). You may object at any time to processing based on legitimate interests on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR). Any consent given can be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future, where processing is based on consent.
To exercise your rights, write to m@k.photo. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR), in particular in your place of residence or at the controller's location. For private bodies in Bavaria, this is generally the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (BayLDA).
8. Updates
This policy is updated when the services used or legal requirements change.
